The Prince's Foundation 11 Inch Batchel

This limited edition collaboration with The Prince's Foundation shares the goals of the charity established by HRH The Prince of Wales; to support and nurture communities through education, shared skills and shared places. We were honoured to receive Their Royal Highnesses The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall at our workshop in the East Midlands in 2020, where they viewed the products from this collection being made, along with those for the Royal Opera House (HRH The Prince of Wales is Patron). Our royal visitors met our team of makers and we celebrated the visit with a very special tea.

A Batchel is a Satchel with a top handle - we are certain of that because we invented it. The Batchel bears all the hallmarks of The Cambridge Satchel but adds some of the practical features of a briefcase; including a nifty top handle and adjustable shoulder strap.
The Batchel is one of our best-selling bags and for good reason. This style features a useful interior front pocket for those items you need to put your hands on quickly, such as your wallet, your keys, or your journal (when inspiration strikes!).

This unique take on The Satchel has all the classic style of its predecessor but with the added convenience of a top handle and a detachable shoulder strap. We’ve discreetly embossed our logo on the pale gold hardware of its magnetic closures and on the reverse of the bag, so you know it's a genuine Batchel. Your Batchel will also come with a free dust bag, to protect your prized possession when you're not using it (but why wouldn't you use it when it’s this lovely?).
