London is buzzing with #LFW excitement this week and, as always, it’s one of our favourite moments in the fashion calendar. Last week we threw our very own Fashion Week Garden Party at our Townhouse in Covent Garden where we invited the fashion community for an exclusive unveiling of our Autumn/Winter 2016 collection. Keep your eyes peeled on the Journal this week for a full round up of the night!
If anyone is looking for us on our lunch break this week, we can be found with a cup of tea, frantically scrolling through Instagram for all the latest #LFW news and photographs. The most exciting feeling is when we spot our favourite bloggers and editors carrying their CSC bag to some of the biggest shows and events. Our Content Editor Sarah has pulled together a little round up of some of our favourite fashionistas, from New York to London, who’ve rocked our bags in style over the past few weeks.
- Blogger Shini from Park And Cube (Follow @parkncube)
“We love how Shini has opted for a monochrome colour palette and added unexpected modern finishes, courtesy of ‘the trouser of the moment’ – the kick flare – and a fringed, checked blazer. Our Saddle Bag makes the perfect finishing touch to her look with its hint of equestrian influence.”
2. Fashion Editor @The Edited, Erica Davies (Follow @erica_davies)
“Erica clashes our brand new Cloud Bag in Peony Peach and Clay with a fabulous Seventies patchwork jacket and those round-toe block-heeled shoes that everyone wants to get their feet into at the moment. We like how she keeps her outfit grounded with black wide leg trousers and a classic Breton striped tee.”
3. Fashion Editor, Creative Consultant & Blogger , Alex Stedman @The Frugality (Follow @thefrugality)
“Is there anything Alex will wear that we won’t love? Probably not. Our current (and constant) style crush Alex Stedman takes wardrobe essentials to another level. Last week she styled our Cloud Bag in Black with amazing nineties-inspired two tone jeans and a classic grey t-shirt. Finished with her signature grey coat and fashion-week-essential sunglasses, this look gets a big thumbs up from us. (One of the girls from our team may have rushed to instantly buy these jeans seconds after seeing this photo. True story).”
4. Junior Stylist & Asos Insider, Becky Jackson
“We’re big fans of Asos Becky’s colourful instagram feed and her Margot Tenenbaum-esque blonde bob, so we were very excited to spot her with our brand new Push Lock in Peony Peach. We like the way she’s taken this Spring shade and made it relevant for right now with a plum-coloured, boxy overcoat. Extra points for her kick flare jeans but we are a little concerned about her cold ankles! All in the name of fashion.
5. Laurel Pantin, Senior Fashion Editor @wearesweet (Follow @lapantin)
“If you’re looking for a lesson in how to dress for Fashion Week when it’s cold and rainy outside, this picture is it. Laurel nails ‘New York casual’ with her dreamy Marc Jacob’s fuzzy bubblegum coat and trusty white trainers. Our Vivienne Westwood Tiny Satchel is the icing on the cake, ticking off the tiny bag, big coat trend that has dominated street style pictures over the past few weeks.”
